Command?

This is yet to be finished……

Commanding thing to happen?

Is it allowed?

Are we to do such things?

That’s a bit bold, who said you can do that?

I am more and more convinced that God wants us to step out and do thing, that he wants us to go from being a infant, to a child, to a teenager, to an adult, to mature.

The more you grow to become like him the more he encourages you to step out and do it yourself.

1 John 2:12-17

12I am writing to you, little children,
because your sins are forgiven on account of his name.
13I am writing to you, fathers,
because you know him who is from the beginning.
I am writing to you, young people,
because you have conquered the evil one.
14I write to you, children,
because you know the Father.
I write to you, fathers,
because you know him who is from the beginning.
I write to you, young people,
because you are strong
and the word of God abides in you,
and you have overcome the evil one.

The 4 steps to teaching/releasing someone are…

  1. I do you watch

  2. I do you help

  3. You do I help

  4. You do I watch

I’m not sure that they apply to God but I do know it is he that is the author and finisher of our faith and that means, teaching us to operate in it. He demonstrated that with his disciples when he was on the earth.

We start praying God can you…

We are seated with him, many times I feel like He is giving me a nudge with His elbow and saying “have a go”. So I will pray strong and command the enemy etc…

So where can I show this in scripture?

The bible says

Jesus said, “whoever shall say unto this mountain, Be removed, and be cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he said shall come to pass; he shall have whatever he said. (Mark 11:23)

This sounds like some wacky teaching doesn’t it? But its Jesus teaching it! Notice he doesn’t say ask God to speak to the mountain, he teaches YOU to speak to the mountain. But the scripture goes on to tell you what saying to the mountain is…

A hint is found in Mark 11:24, Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them.

This scripture is the continuation to the above one Mark 11:23, telling you to speak to the mountain, Jesus is therefore calling speaking to something as praying.

Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief. For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain,’ Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. (Matt 17:20)

He said “if YOU have faith”, if you don’t it won’t happen. Notice he didn’t say nothing shall be impossible to God, He “Jesus said this!” YOU tell the mountain, and then he say it shall not be impossible to YOU!

There are other places too

Go heal the sick, raise the dead and cast out demons! (scripture) He didn’t say ask God to… don’t get me wrong its God who does it but we step out the keys to the kingdom, as his ambassadors, his representatives.

Well what if we get things wrong? will that be spiritual witchcraft?

Lets look at Elisha… (2 Kings 2:24) Kids came out and called him baldy, baldy, baldy… And turning back, he saw them, and put a curse on them in the name of the Lord. And two she-bears came out of the wood and put forty-two of the children to death. God’s will? I think not… but God had apportioned the kingdom of heaven and authority (called anointing) to him, and he wielded it according to his ego.

Smith Wigglesworth, raised his wife from the dead, she came back to life and said to him, I’m suppose to die, at the same time the Lord said to him, I’m taking her home.. she died again straight away. The question is who raised her? Who’s power? Who’s authority?

It shows that God gives us authority to step out in his name, we can get it wrong, but the more we abide in Him, the more His word abides in us you can ask what you will and it will be done for you. (John 15:7)

The Bible says that Jesus had the Spirit without measure… which immediately implies that the Holy Spirit is measured out to people at different measures. As God finds you faithful he will increase the measure to you. (scripture)

Still writing to be continued…..
