Sin is a spirit, sinning is doing its bidding

God said to Cain (Genesis 4)

“If you do well, shall you not be accepted? and if you do not well, sin lies at the door. And to you shall be his desire, and you shall rule over him”.

– Sin lies or crouches, so sin is intelligently waiting, watching.

– Sin is identified as a “his” a living entity, who has intelligent “desire”

– God said rule over him not it!

Paul said… for sin, taking an opportunity through the commandment, deceived me and through it killed me

Sin is not so much a thought of yours but a spirit trying to manipulate you, it desires to express itself through you and rule over you.

It is deceitfully wicked, it will play you like a musical instrument if you let it, so when you are tempted don’t see it as you, see it as a spirit trying to play you. Paul said in Romans 7, its no longer I that sins but sin that is within me… as I want to do good…. but when I am trying to do good sin is present.

John said the new creation can not sin, realise those thoughts and desires are not the new you they are the old you, the sinful nature, kill this identity in you.

Don’t let sin have any place in you, this is your goliath to kill.

You think its you but it isn’t!

its no more you than you are a tree, its firstly the old software (soul) and secondly the body (brain), once the software is recoded, the body will still sends its requests, the body of death has a life of its own, it will rule you or you will rule it, God has condemned sin in the flesh, Paul says who will saved me from this body of death? (Rom 7-8) Don’t be tricked by it, reject it.

What is of the new me and what is of the flesh?

You are born of God, God is light and God is love therefore reject everything that is not both of those at the same time (as light without love is death and love without light is death) Love with light equals life.

For example if I have an affair with my neighbours wife because I love her, it causes death, wrecks her life, her conscience and her family’s life, why because there is no light with my love, which means no rightness, no justice, no perfection.

Or if I stand with righteous anger and kill people because of light or righteousness but have no love it also causes death. Everyone would deserve to die today if that was the case. But with Christ came grace and truth, before then love was always silenced by perfect justice, the main truth that came with Christ is the truth of God’s grace, it is love’s victory over judgement, because Jesus satisfies judgement.

So reject everything in you that is not life (perfect love with perfect light) treat it as a foreign thing, for it has no place in you, it is not you, just like the inhabitants of the promised land Hittites’ etc were not the Children of Israel, they were gentiles, gentiles were unclean and are a spiritual picture of flesh thoughts that we live amongst don’t allow them in your house (brain).

Guerrilla warfare

The most effect warfare is guerrilla warfare because the enemy is unknown, it could be anyone, they hide among the friendly’s, they all look the same dress the same and blend in. So the Americans found in Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan. The spirit of this world who is your enemy, works the same way by trying to look like your friendly’s, like your thoughts, act like your thoughts, you may have thought they were your thoughts since the day you got born-again but they weren’t they never have been since then. So you have to bring every thought captive and understand they are not yours

• Those sinful desires…. not yours
• Those sinful thoughts…. not yours
• Those sinful habits…. not yours

Everyone of them from your old soul and the spirit of this world that tries to use them to make you small and crippled. They are no more your thoughts than the Hittites thoughts were the COI’s when the Hittites were ruling in one of the promised cities. Those thoughts are no more yours than if you hopped into a dogs body for a day and had terrible desires to sniff lamp posts or other horrible things. You would know those thoughts were not yours, but because you have not known what happened at Calvary, you are living a dogs life.

Realise you have left Egypt and you are no longer a slave!

When you know who you really are it will become much easier as you will identify the guerrilla warfare quicker, and kill those thoughts. Its about time you realised who you are and make a stand against such things trying to express in your members.

So do I take responsibility for sin within me!

Well you allowed it, you have to take the responsibility, just like Joshua repented before the Lord because of the sin within the camp. Joshua didn’t do it, Achan did, but once Joshua repented He went out and judged and killed Achan.

So kill the sin within you. Do not allow it in your camp, or even a better way to look at it as allowing a rotting corpse in your bed, its not you its a dead thing you’re allowing to live with you! Don’t you know what manner of spirit you are, what place has Christ with sin?

Don’t allow it to niggle at you, throw the rock(s) at it, stoning it to death! Christ is the rock, His work is the weapon of our warfare. Proclaiming what Jesus did at Calvary this is the word of our testimony! (Rev 12:11, 19:10)

The key is stay at the resurrection

Jesus didn’t come out with error and either did you because you were in Him. Just as He is so are you, perfect, now! not after you have done something, you are not changing anything but your faith and growing in knowledge of the finished work.

If you get confused, go back to the resurrection and look at who He is, for your life is hidden in Christ in God, you are identical what ever His testimony is (apart from being God and paying for all sin) so your testimony is. He doesn’t have any sinful habits and either do you!

Its so exciting!

Don’t get all guilty or condemned, stand up and fight, be who you really are in Him. The exciting thing is no where and at no other time in all eternity can you have such an awesome opportunity to overcome sin, you have maybe millions or billions of beings trying to temp you, there job it to temp, they really do want to make you disconnected and dysfunctional, they work on it day and night, crouching, waiting, planning, scheming.

The marvellous opportunity you have on this earth is to actually overcome it! To win! To conquer, Jesus has already broken their power and set you free (if you know the truth). You have an opportunity to win!

The sons of God are winners, you are but you might not know it yet, I promise you that you are! get that old soul off you, get under it and kick it off! (of course you have to be born-again first if you’re not already)

So make a stand,

• They’re not your thoughts! they’re from the old creation!
• It is not you!
• They are not your desires!
• Separate soul from spirit!
• Get those thoughts out of your heart (choice centre, control room)
• It is only software, so recode it!

Don’t get religious and clean up from the outside in, saying don’t touch, don’t taste…

Col 2:20 If you have died with Christ to the elementary principles of the world, why, as if you were living in the world, do you submit yourself to decrees, such as, 21 “Do not handle, do not taste, do not touch!” 22 (which all refer to things destined to perish with use)—in accordance with the commandments and teachings of men? 23 These are matters which have, to be sure, the appearance of wisdom in self-made religion and self-abasement and severe treatment of the body, but are of no value against fleshly indulgence. 3:1 Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. 3 For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.
5 Therefore consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry. 6 For it is because of these things that the wrath of God will come upon the sons of disobedience, 7 and in them you also once walked, when you were living in them. 8 But now you also, put them all aside: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive speech from your mouth. 9 Do not lie to one another, since you laid aside the old self with its evil practices,10 and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him— 11 a renewal in which there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave and freeman, but Christ is all, and in all.

We are not those who are white washed tombs, and if you try and clean from the outside in you will be come one, get under that old soul and lift it off with the new. Do not try and clean the old man up, kill him, you are brand new… remember that sin is not you so don’t allow it to rule in you. If you sin, get it off you, you are not it, it is not you, it is not in you, you are in it (body of death), it will try to deceive you and use your body of death so you will let it live through you, stand in the finished work and kick it off today don’t be tricked anymore.

Don’t even try and be good, you are good, try and be who you are, and the goodness will just flow when you know who you are, you will reject evil automatically, if you don’t know who you are then sin within you will always be trying to sin, as the sin within needs to sin, like the saying goes you need it until you wont need it anymore! And if you just clean up the old you will vent else where!

Unless you hate your (old) life your (current thoughts are) not worthy of Him.

Power is in Holy Spirit

So how does it actually all work? Just as Joshua and Caleb believed God so you must, He moves upon your believing Him, the same power that raised Christ from the dead is dwelling in you to help you win this battle and stand up tall in who he has made you. He has done this so you can live in righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit with power, for the kingdom of heaven is not in word but power. Aren’t you sick of just bring words to real needs, Jesus never did and you’re suppose to do great works because you’re like the resurrected Him (1John 4:17b)

High Call

Your actual earth-life condition is the condition of the whole being, which includes the marriage of soul and spirit, as the two have become one, when they agree God will command a blessing.

When you have taken the land (soul/software and rewritten to the hard-drive (brain)) holistically you will be fulfilling the high call, not many if any have taken the whole land, Israel never did, but like Paul said we press forward to the High call. Smith Wigglesworth touched it, when he touched it no one could stand in the glory that came and surrounded him when he prayed, because they felt like they were going to die. We are all called to zone at the throne of God, when you are there you can do more in five minutes of prayer than a normal Christian can do in five years of striving.

Do you see how amazing God’s plan is? What an amazing in heritance we have in Him, do you see He planned this path for you before He even started to lay down the foundation of the world, search the scriptures to see if these things are so, because you have begun to see who you are in Him, I pray that you will continue to see, its your call, your journey, your destiny! His desire!

Christianity means “Christ like” not nice friendly person, who does nice things, and has cleaned up their act… It means glorious son of God who is no longer a mere human, but a different creation, born of Him, one spirit with Him, identical to Him, filled with His light, love, nature and power.

Fighting with the fallen world

The kingdom of heaven is like someone who hid a little leaven in a lump, until the lump became leaven. Yes you are a perfect and complete creation that is fighting its way out because you want to walk in the Way, the Truth and the Life, and so you can express Christ.

I know you, you are a life giving spirit and you desire to give life to others! So stand up shake off the dust (of Adam) and come into His light.

The enemy will try and keep you crippled with your souls identity, pick up the word of God and use it and you will become so incredibility transformed you will be scary. Full of love, light, determination, focus, passion and authority, and the fruit of the spirit.

Remember If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful because he cannot deny himself (2 Tim 2:13)
