War against the devil, Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil, Jesus said, “I didn’t come to bring peace I came to bring a sword”.

There are only two kingdoms, two sides, two plans and you can’t be in the middle. Jesus said “he who doesn’t gather, scatters“, and “if your lukewarm I will spew you out of my mouth“.

God is a mighty warrior of love, He is against anything that is against love… everything that robs, kills and destroys… He calls it sin, sin is against Him and against what is perfect, right and true.

God is for righteousness, peace and joy, He is for justice, mercy and truth, He wants people to be whole, free and living in abundance. The devil wants people to be robbed, killed and destroyed, in every area of life… physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

We are born into a war…

We are born into this battle, it rages around our life’s daily, impacting us directly or indirectly, peace time doesn’t exist.

You will find some people will say, “I’m not in a war my life is bliss, I have everything I need”. They are really saying “I am rich and in need of nothing”… Jesus says to them “don’t you know you’re wretched, poor, blind and naked“. – and “if the blind lead the blind they will both fall in the ditch“.

We can’t be blind concerning this war, we are not here just for “a get what you can while you can” life, it’s not about chasing “the good life” this life is not “the good life”, we are on our way to “the good life”.

Life is not all about this short eighty years of existence; just so we can fill it in with a career, build some security, having some fun, bringing up some kids and then die – so our children can grow and continue the cycle… but this is what happens generations come and generations go. Life was never meant to be wasted on the good life.

We are his seed, born to be like Him, same spirit, same heart, same mind… to go to sleep in the war is having a different heart, mind and spirit. – The blind have been leading ones such as these.

The good life is a lie!…

³³ But he, turning around, and seeing his disciples, rebuked Peter, and said, “Get behind me, Satan! For you have in mind not the things of God, but the things of men.” ³⁴ He called the multitude to himself with his disciples, and said to them, “Whoever wants to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

35 For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; and whoever will lose his life for my sake and the sake of the Good News will save it. 36 For what does it profit a man, to gain the whole world, and forfeit his life? 37 For what will a man give in exchange for his life?

³⁸ For whoever will be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man also will be ashamed of him, when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.” (Mark 8:33-38)

Peace time Christianity never did exist…

This whole world is setup for the natural man, it’s just so easy to live as a natural human, it’s so hard to stir yourself up, to get into the spirit instead of stay in the flesh, to fight instead of rest, to put on Christ instead of live in Adam, it just so easy to sit, watch some TV enjoy your natural life. God says be not conformed to this world; the spirit of this world would have you be fashioned according to it.

It’s not about being a nice Christian who goes to church on Sunday, sings a few song, then leaves to look after number “1” for the rest of the week, it’s about being like your father in heaven, liking what He likes, hating what He hates.

The bible says the spirit wars against the flesh and the flesh against the spirit, those that are in the flesh think they live in a peace time Christianity, but the war is raging within and they are on the wrong side.

God says the natural man is His enemy…

⁵ For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.⁶ For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;

7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God’s law, neither indeed can it be. 8 Those who are in the flesh can’t please God.

⁹ But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn’t have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

We need to be mindful of the things of God not of men…

The chances are if you’re not in the war, fighting, you’re either like a slave in Egypt or your wandering around in the wilderness. God says I have a new land for you and for your brothers and sisters, but you will have to go and fight for it.

There are giants in the land, inhabiting our cities, (souls) we need to dress our hearts for battle or we will remain, asleep in the wilderness, with wrong hearts and minds. The devils not asleep, he’s focused, determined and active… the kingdom of heaven is suffering violence and those more violent are taking it by force. Lets get violent and take it back!

Selfishness causes one to sleep, Love causes one to spring to action. Selfishness causes one to close their eyes and look away. One can make excuses and say it’s fear, it’s not fear it’s living in the natural man who lacks love, who’s got a wrong spirit, been taught by the blind leaders, natural men, contained Christians, wilderness dwellers. The Spirit would never teach such things so it came from the flesh.

The world is in agony, you are God’s answer for those God has appointed for you to reach, people all around us are being robbed, killed and destroyed. We are God’s hope for this generation, if we don’t reach them who will?

God hopes in you, don’t close your heart. Be the warrior of love and truth God has made you, you will find you are mighty in the spirit man… if you only stir yourself to battle.

⁹ Proclaim this among the nations: “Prepare for war! Stir up the mighty men. Let all the warriors draw near. Let them come up. ¹⁰ Beat your ploughshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’

If the blind lead the blind they will all fall in the ditch!
