This is an amazing revelation to get into your spirit if you suffer from rejection, a religious spirit or just plain hiding from God when you don’t feel good.

God said to Cain “behold sin crouches at the door and it wants to rule over you”. Sin is shown here as active, cunning, planning, waiting, desiring, and conquering thing, in other words an intelligent spirit that is actively trying to rule over you.

Sin and the spirit of religion…

Sin and the spirit of religion…(man being good enough to please God) work in unison to try and separate you from God, its seen in Adams life when he sinned and then hid from God. We too are tempted to hide from God when we sin or feel like we have failed. Sin is saying “do it , do it!” then when you do.. it says “you’re so bad, God doesn’t want to talk to you… you’re rejected”.

The spirit of religion says when I’m ready to repent I know God is ready to receive me… there are two major problems with that belief…

1. The state of your heart becomes the only good news you have, you become your own good news, coz when you feel your ok with yourself your ok with God, this is self righteousness even though its hidden within a clear conscience.

2. If your heart is wanting to sin you hide. It manifests in this way… you feel you have to be perfect in your repentant before He will accept you so you hide from God until you’ve got your heart sorted out, therefore you have to deal with your sin all by yourself.

The truth is Jesus is always good news whether your heart is divided, ugly, sinful or upright… if you can’t worship Him even when you’re heart is ruled by sin then you’re religious, its impossible to understand Jesus is good news to you if you’re self righteous or self unrighteous.. because you (the state of your repentance or heart) has become your own good news.

 The Gift of God is a position (as much as it is a person)…

Lucifer when he fell, by corrupting himself with wrong choices (he never had the knowledge of good and evil) ended up getting into trouble with God… the bible says God looked for someone to stand in the gap when people had sin, well Lucifer never had anyone to stand in the gap for him… now God loved Lucifer far beyond what we can ever imagine, and the third of the angels that Lucifer drew away with him.. wow talk about God’s heart be torn in two.

Anyway the only voice that was left for Lucifer was the voice of justice, God perfect justice could not, would not be silenced. So Lucifer and his angels were cast away.

Jesus is the gift of God, God so loved the world that he gave Jesus, but it goes much deeper than that, Jesus said if you knew the gift of God… We need to know the gift of God, its not just salvation, its not just eternal life, its not just the person Jesus, its also a position.

The bible says “with Christ came grace and truth”… (John 1:17)

A another way of saying this is with Christ came the truth about grace, or the truth about God’s love… before Christ justice was the only voice that could be heard as grace never had any legal ground to stand on.

God made a new position in heaven…

‘the one who stands in the gap’ this person must be able to silence justice and bring God’s true heart to restore a broken creation back to rightness with God.

Now Jesus is the mediator between God and man. The gift of God is Christ, the bible says He ever lives to make intercession for the saints… in other words He lives forever in this position to stand in the gap.  What is the gap… it is the difference between an ugly fallen sin controlled heart, and a holy God..

So next time you find sin has gripped your heart…

….and you can’t shake it, bring your heart in its ugly state to the one who stands in the gap and ask him to sort it out for you. He’s already paid for and been judged for your sin. He is the good news, no matter where you’re at, He is the gift of God.

God knows sin crouches at the door to rule over us, to pulls away from Him. God so loved you that He organised away back to Him when you fall, He doesn’t want to loose you. This is the gift of God, God himself ever lives to stand in the gap for you…

Part 2

Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. (Col 1:15-17)

And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things said the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; (Rev 3:14)

As you can see by these scriptures is the Christ is the first born of all creation, now this freaks out some peoples theology (the scripture can not be broken) so how does that work Christ is from everlasting isn’t He? Here is how it works….

God said I want kids heaps of them, but I don’t want robots, I want them to love me and walk perfectly with me, I want them to be one with me, light and love, therefore I am going to have to give them a very dangerous thing ‘free will’, I can’t do that here in my eternal realm as I will lose them forever, I will have to create a temporal place for them to have free will, a new realm of spirit and physical. I know they are going to mess up so the first thing I will do is make myself live in that realm as God, the God who will by them back, redeem them from their mess, the God who will die for His own creations sin (for God can’t die) thus showing the love of God (love is only truly displayed in sacrifice).

This is how you can know that God loves you because He knew you were going to be undeserving from the beginning so the first thing He did was make a position to rescue you, called the Christ (which was fulfilled by God the word).

The best way for you to get out of this sin cycle is know who you are now, it will change your life totally from the inside out, you will be amazed at its ability to change you, know the truth and the truth will set you free. Go through the identity studies and work it, you will change your world and the world around you.
