– The Holy Spirit came to convict the world of sin judgement and righteousness
– Conviction is not an intellect thing, its a conscience thing
– Don’t speak to the intellect or you will just talk information
– Talk to the heart, the conscience, talk about sin, judgement and righteousness
– Use the law, don’t talk about dinosaurs that won’t get anyone’s convictions, talk about the 10 commandments, show them they need a saviour.
Human motivation goes through 4 step before it does any action

Where am I….. (disturb, problem, bad news)

Where do I want to be….. (desire, felt need)

How do I get there…. (answer, good news)

What do I do now
– There has to be bad new for there to be good news, the bad news makes the good news good.
– If they are whole break them, if they are broken (over sin) heal them
– If they are whole convict them, if they are broken over their sin, give them Jesus.
– Don’t give them Jesus if they have no conviction, give them the law
– The Law brings us to Christ (Gal 3:24)
– But when they come to faith, they no longer need the Law. (Gal 3:25)
