Everyone thinks they have the truth…

There are 1000’s of churches, religions, cults and sects out there that believe with their whole hearts that they have got the truth. (in fact 6 Billion people)

Everyone I’ve met believes what they believe is true, that’s why they believe it!

Many churches do have an angle on the truth, but none have the whole truth.

They might have it in theory at the moment but its still only theory until its real in them.

Everyone is wrong until the word is in your heart of hearts.

You show me someone like Jesus and will show you someone who has got their doctrines right.

I’ve met great bible scholars and theologians who study the bible inside and out, I’m more and more convinced that its not what you know in your head its what you know in your heart.

You can know the form and structure of the scriptures, what its saying, what truth it is revealing, who it was written too, who wrote it etc.. but if you don’t believe it in your heart of hearts then what use is it to you?

Its dead in you, the bible says knowledge puffs up (makes you proud) and the letter kills so it has become your worst enemy.

I believe everyone has much of their heart doctrines wrong, or else they would be like Jesus, that’s it in a nut shell, unless you are like Jesus and can say if you have seen me you have seen the father, many of your heart doctrines are wrong.

What do I mean by heart doctrines? I mean not what your head thinks but what your heart of hearts really believes.

You are a new creation.. the word of God

The word must become one with you, alive in you.

You are born again of the incorruptible seed of the word of God, so you are a seed of the word, you plant a oak seed and you get? an Oak tree!, you are a creation of the word of God, the Word was with God and is God, you are a son of God born of God.

You are a new creation the word of God creation, unless the living word of God increases in you, you will remain a seed, you grow by becoming more word of God, not head word, heart word.

The word must sink to your heart and become one with you...

What does your heart doctrine say about these scriptures? does it believe God or not…?

By his stripes you were healed (1 Peter 2:24) or have you excused it away with another gospel?

“Behold all old things have passed away all have become new” (2 Cor 5:17) Or do you still struggle with old things?

“As Jesus is in heaven so are you in the earth?” (1 John 4:17b) Or do you still believe no I’m just a sinful person?

“Its no longer I lives but Christ that lives in me” (Gal 2:20) Or do you still believe, “no I live but Jesus lives in me”?

“All things are yours” (1 Cor 3:21) Or do you lack the resources to help anyone?

The word of God can’t have its creative effects in us while it remains inactivated, (Heb 4:2) only when it reaches our heart do we have our doctrines right. Then it has become us! The traditions (customs, beliefs, habits, ways) of man make the word of God powerless. (Mark 7:13)

So what am I saying?

I’m saying everyone thinks they’re right and you do too! (and maybe you are) but unless the word is alive in you, it’s just a theory, and there are many many theories… I am also saying I know all my doctrines are not right either, and some things are just theories also because its not alive in me, I know this because I am not like Jesus – when I am one with him I will know I have my doctrine right. Until then I press forward to the high call and keep myself centred around the cross and the resurrection, centred around Jesus, the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Theory are just that theories until they can be proved, James puts it this way “you show me your faith without works and I will show you my faith with works, for faith without works is dead”.  Theory’s are dead, results speak for themselves.

The key is not filling your head with bible knowledge its becoming one with Him in all things.

• Here’s a secret to those who can receive it… we are like Him already, identical, (we rose with Him, hidden in Him, complete in Him) our understanding has just got to catch up and then we will live in the provision!

Powerless Christianity was never meant to exist! Those who practice it and teach it, rob Jesus and undermine his sacrifice.

As the apostle Paul said, “All we want to know from you is Christ crucified”.
